Golazo WC26 Rules

The Game

Predict the score of every FIFA World Cup 2026 match before kick-off. Earn points for correct outcomes and bonus points for exact scores. Compete against friends in private leagues or go head-to-head with everyone in the global standings.

Making Predictions

  1. 1

    Go to Predictions

Head to the Predictions page. Matches are split into two tabs: Group Stage and Knockout Stage.

  2. 2

    Enter your scores

For each match, enter the number of goals you expect each team to score. Predictions save automatically.

  3. 3

    Use your bankers

You have 10 banker slots per phase (group stage and knockout stage separately). Mark a prediction as a banker to double your points for that match. Choose wisely — banker status cannot be changed after kick-off.

  4. 4

    Beat the kick-off

Predictions lock at kick-off. You cannot edit or set bankers on locked matches.

  5. 5

    Unlock the knockout stage

The Knockout Stage tab is locked until all group stage matches are complete. Once unlocked, you can predict every match from the Round of 32 through to the Final.

Scoring

Points are awarded for each finished match. Penalty shoot-out results do not affect scoring — only full-time scores count.

Outcome Points

Correct home win / away win 3 pts
Correct draw 4 pts
Wrong outcome 0 pts

Exact Score Bonus

Predict the exact final score to earn a bonus on top of your outcome points. Rarer scores earn bigger bonuses.

Common scores

0–0, 0–1, 1–1, 1–2

25 pts

(20 + 5 bonus)

Less common

0–2, 2–2

30 pts

(20 + 10 bonus)

Uncommon

0–3, 1–3, 2–3, 0–4

35 pts

(20 + 15 bonus)

Rare

3–3, 1–4, 2–4, 0–5

40 pts

(20 + 20 bonus)

Very rare

Any other score

60 pts

(20 + 40 bonus)

Scores are symmetrical — e.g. 1–2 and 2–1 are treated identically for rarity.

Banker Multiplier

Marking a prediction as a banker doubles your total points for that match (outcome + exact score bonus combined). You have 10 bankers per phase — use them on matches where you feel most confident.

Examples

+29 Predict 1–1, actual 1–1 — 4 (draw) + 25 (exact, common) = 29 pts
+58 Same as above but with a banker — 29 × 2 = 58 pts
+3 Predict 2–1, actual 3–0 — 3 (home win correct) + 0 (wrong score) = 3 pts
+0 Predict 2–1, actual 0–1 — wrong outcome = 0 pts

Creating a League

  1. 1

    Create your league

Go to Leagues and click New League. Give it a name and hit create.

  2. 2

    Invite friends

Share your league's unique invite link. Anyone with the link can join after creating an account. You can regenerate the link at any time to invalidate the old one.

  3. 3

    Watch the standings

Standings update automatically as matches finish. Your predictions are shared across all leagues you're in — your points in one league are the same as in another.

  4. 4

    Manage members

As owner you can rename the league, regenerate the invite link, and remove members. Members can leave at any time.

Everyone also appears in the Global League — an automatic league containing all players so you can always see where you stand overall.
Create paid leagues to award winners — you'll need to organise payments and winnings yourself.
